Gun Accuracy Training
" Every good soldier must learn how to use a firearm, this is not only for your sake but that of those around you. A gun is not simply a tool for killing, but a honed, polished weapon of war. It takes time and effort – not to mention devotion and skill – to master the art of gun combat. A gun is not merely a point-and-shoot weapon, despite what the police forces would lead you to believe; there is an art to learning how to hit certain parts of the body in order to maim, kill, or mortally wound, leaving time for interrogation. As a new recruit you will be required to learn how to clean, maintain, and lastly; fire a gun. A gun is a tool, and like any tool, the appropriate skills and handling methods must be taught – Be sure to pay attention to your instructor – or you might be shot by those that did."

The Aim System in Terra 7 is a 12-point system that allows for an active player or enemy to pinpoint exact hits on specific body parts. The player must declare the local area and specified target (ie: Face:Ear) then roll one D-12 against the DM. The DM must use the DM MANUAL calculations to determine adverse forces and distance, before recognizing a perfect hit or a slightly off one. If the player character manages to pinpoint their target, they are given a second attack due to their first strike stunning the target. This does not apply to higher level creatures than the player, and the second strike can only be used to stun the target again if the proper skill tree (Expert Marksman) has been followed.
The Aim System allows for pinpointing of twelve separate divisions of the six main body parts: head, torso, left leg, right leg, left arm, and right arm, while also allowing for more detailed shots as each zone is divided into twelve general areas (IE: The head is divided into left eye, right eye, forehead, mouth, nose, left cheek, right cheek, left ear, right ear, jaw, and neck.) To target a specific spot on the body, make note of the placement charts below.
Head: L eye, R eye, L cheek, R cheek, L ear, R ear, forehead, nose, mouth, jaw, and neck.
Torso: Heart, ribcage, groin, R shoulder, L shoulder, upper torso, lower torso, spine, liver, L kidney, R kidney,and stomach.
Left Leg: foot, knee, achilles tendon, thigh, calf, big toe, mid toe, ring toe, small toe, pinky toe, heel, and shin
Right Leg: foot, knee, achilles tendon, thigh, calf, big toe, mid toe, ring toe, small toe, pinky toe, heel, and shin
Left Arm: shoulder, shoulder joint, upper arm, lower arm, hand, elbow, wrist, thumb, pointer finger, middle finger, ring finger, and pinky finger
Right Arm: Shoulder, shoulder joint, upper arm, lower arm, hand, elbow, wrist, thumb, pointer finger, middle finger, ring finger, and pinky finger
For the contents of the Terra 7 Aim system, the DM must have a flow chart of hit points for the body – a physical representation is suggested, but not required.
