From A Dissertation on Religion and History by Professor Tem Fendall of Luminarch University for Technological Studies
" We look at the past as if it were fake, false or unbelievably primitive…and yet, those people are so much like ourselves. We believe in the technologies we hold in our hands, we feel the power coming from each battery cell – or moebius cell for the fortunate – and yet we don’t understand how the two are combined. Religion gave man the power to feel as if a God, encouraged our desires to manipulate things around us, provided us ‘permission’ – as it were – to mess with the very materials that create our world. And from that we rose. Our creativity unleashed, whether moral or not, was an awesome force to behold. But in the process we forgot the origin of our designer aspirations. Our God – real or not – had given us the perspective and desire to move the world in an unforgettable way, but in the midst of that movement, when things became the future, we threw out the very thing that had granted us license to progress in the first place.
What fools we are! The spirit is a thing of our make or not; and yet we hold so dear to the unseen forces that linger around us like the shining webs of the doralin in the God’s Woods. We believe the idea of the spirit to be ludicrous, silly, and unscientific, but the truth is that the things are entwined – like fate. So much so, that when we begin to use the two together for progress, then progress is inevitably made.
Thousands of years have passed, and yet this knowledge, lost in the modern age of scientific wonder, hasn’t been used for any of it. We have Cell phones – powered by the Moebius cells of Rio Airau’s invention – and we have weapons that seem to rival those that The Others used on the fields against Herman and the First Order. But I feel we can go further than ever dreamed, but only if we mirror the science with the spirit – Religion could have raped our minds, but it did not, instead we have allowed science – in it’s awesome way – to blind us to the side of the universe that makes things operate. The fabric of energy, you see, is bound by the strings that flow from each of us – tested and proven in the labs! – that mark us as a part of the loop…a piece of the cosmic puzzle of life and matter. All our sciences cannot dispel the notion that these things are connected – and connected in such a radical way as to break our pre-conceived, and ill-conceived, ways of viewing our material universe. There are things that we can’t touch, taste, smell, bioticize, or hear – and there are things we can…to believe that one is more real than the other is a folly of the type which men fear to make. There is a barrier between them – this is fact – but to understand one, we must understand the other and do away with the barrier between.
As the Gods before have licensed us to create – so too have they given us leave to explore their domain…to learn of them…and perhaps, in a future of unparalleled understanding,
to learn from them.
